Course Overview
This Ofqual-regulated qualification provides learners with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to effectively manage a wide range of paediatric first aid situations. Ideal for childminders, nursery staff, teachers, support workers, and anyone responsible for the care of babies and children.
What does the course cover?
Over a 2 day period, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: assessing an emergency situation, dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, choking, meningitis, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and more.

- 7 x Practical assessments

Annual refreshers are strongly recommended to maintain confidence and competence.
