Course Overview
The Level 3 First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification is the industry-standard course for workplaces with higher risks, larger staff numbers, or specialised environments. This course provides learners with the confidence and competence to manage a wide range of injuries and medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Delivered by practicing clinicians, our training blends real-world experience with hands-on practical learning to ensure every delegate leaves feeling fully prepared.
What does the course cover?
Over a 3 day period, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.

Assessment Methods
- 7 x Practical assessments
- 2 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers).
Certification
On successful completion, learners will receive a Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) certificate, valid for 3 years.
Annual refresher training is strongly recommended.
