Service Description

The leading qualification for events cover, the Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 4 RQF) regulated and nationally recognised Prehospital care qualification specifically designed for those looking to progress their career within the NHS or private ambulance services as an emergency care assistant, intermediate ambulance practitioner, event medical provider, associate practitioner or healthcare assistant. It is also ideal for those who are looking to work within specialist roles in the military, police and fire services. Over 5 days, you will fulfil the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level E, gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations. A perfect fit for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder. This course is clinically endorsed by the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care – The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Ofqual regulated - 5 day course - Certificate valid as long as an indate portfolio and ILS certificate is maintained What's Covered Immediate Life Support ECG Monitoring Physiological Observations Entonox Therapy Fracture and Trauma Management Assisting the Clinician Entry Requirements Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of the training. Learners must already hold a valid FREC3 qualification. We advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent and a basic understanding of first aid.
